President Donald Trump gave a start speech at the University of Alabama on Thursday night, easily winning the crowd.

Trump had already had the advantage of a home crowd as he ruled the state in last year's election, but he earned bonus points for his high ratings about the school's athletics program.

The president called the university “a special place where legends are made.”

“There's something really special about the players, coaches and fans who pack the stadium and proudly sing “The Joy of Dixieland.” We like it. Alabama has changed college football forever.

“The Crimson tide is off, you don't stop, you don't stop winning. You always win. That's why the University of Alabama football team has won more games than any American college football team in the last decade.

“Alabama is not only an incredible soccer school, but it is now one of the best basketball schools in the country,” he said.

Trump also pledged the women's track team that won the SEC, and then promised that trans athletes would not participate in women's and women's sports.

The football team lost the Leakest Bowl to Michigan, the second Stray Bowl defeat to the Wolverines, who defeated them in the Rose Bowl on their way to the 2024 National Championship.
