Elon Musk looks back on 100 days of DOGE, previews future of the ‘long-term enterprise’

As President Donald Trump served on his 100th day in office on Tuesday, the government's Department of Efficiency (DOGE) said it has reduced at least $160 billion in federal waste, fraud and abuse.

In the first 100 days of the Trump administration, the department made some well-known cuts, but Doge Head Elon Musk shared that Trump's cost cuts are just beginning.

“It's a long-term company,” Musk said in an exclusive interview on Thursday about “Jesse Watters Primetime.” “If you take your eyes off the ball, it's a buzz of waste and fraud.”

Watters joined Musk and several team members at Doge headquarters, including “Big Balls.”

Doge's biggest hit: look back at the most high-profile cuts of the first 100 days of Trump's division

Doge Minds detailed a more shocking discovery from the department's first few months during the “Jesse Watters Primetime” dedicated to it.

Doge has made many consequential and controversial cuts over the past few months without plans to slow down.

One of Doge's most talked about goals in Trump's first term was to spend on the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Fox News Digital Previously reported According to internal documents, roughly 15,000 grants worth $60 billion will be eliminated. The grant reaches approximately 90% of foreign aid contracts and comes after a review of expenditures by the State Department.

Doge's efforts at USAID did not come without opposition. This included a federal judge in Maryland who found the move likely to be unconstitutional. March, a The federal court of appeals granted The Trump administration's allegations that it will extend its stay allow Doge to continue operating under USAID.

Doge also announced over the past few months it has made efforts to cut DEI contracts of hundreds of millions and trim federal expenditures by trimming the federal workforce.

“If there's one group of people that's really been successful, it's the people here. They're from 2am on Monday through Sunday. Doge doesn't recognize the weekend,” a Doge member told Fox News host Jesse Watters.

Ice cream and “comicically small office” from Trump: Elon Musk's wild three-month rolling

As the team shared cases of wasted spending from the top division to small institutions, Watters asked how the findings made Musk and Doge members feel.

“Unfortunately, it's hard not to get a little paralyzed, like the 100th time you've heard it. And on the 200th, you're well, OK, that was another day in the office,” Musk replied.

Doge's efforts have spurred opposition from Democrats and many of the American people. From protests to vandalism, public outrage over Musk and Clank has escalated over the past 100 days.

One Doge member who joined Musk in “Jesse Watters Primetime” revealed that he had dropped out of Harvard to “serve my country” but faced backlash.

“It was a shame to see the lost friendship. Most of the campus hates me now, but basically, I hope that through conversations like this, people will realize that reform is really necessary.”

Another Doge member praised the work that brought “permanent change” to the federal government.

Doge has marked the first 100 days of Trump's second term, but even as Musk begins its planned departure, the department is still doing its best.
