Just moments after an 18-year-old gunman reportedly shot a woman in Nashville Park, he was caught on video as he fired at an approaching police car.
The Metronashville Police Department released footage on Wednesday, showing how the officer in the patrol car located 18-year-old eManual Orr, who was alleged to have opened fire.
The police vehicle approached Orr slowly as he walked along the roadside, suspected of shooting a woman in Cedar Hill Park just minutes earlier.
Then, out of the blue, Orr turned around, aimed his gun at the police car, and began firing.
Officials noted that Orr fled toward a nearby restaurant and sought refuge in a bathroom.
Eventually, he surrendered and was taken into custody. Fortunately, MNPD reported that the officer, Lubey, was unharmed.
