Today’s WSL Fixtures

Hello, and welcome to another WSL ClockWatch! We have an exciting day of derbies lined up. Liverpool will be hosting their Merseyside rivals, Everton, at Anfield, while Manchester City is making the short four-mile trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United. Elsewhere, newly crowned league champions Chelsea are heading across London to take on Tottenham, West Ham will be hosting Aston Villa, and already-relegated Crystal Palace faces Leicester City. Lastly, Arsenal will travel south to meet Brighton.

We’ll also keep you updated on the Championship title decider between Birmingham and the London City Lionesses.

There’s a lot to look forward to today, and it all kicks off at 12pm BST – hope you’ll join me!

Updates on Key Players

In some player updates, Manchester City will see both Alex Greenwood and Lauren Hemp returning to the starting lineup. It’s notable as it’s the first time this year they’ve been part of the starting XI after previously coming off the bench.

Recent Results and Relegation News

I should mention, Chelsea won the WSL title recently after a close match against Manchester United, securing a 1-0 victory. They really needed that win, especially after Arsenal lost to Aston Villa. On the other hand, Crystal Palace has been confirmed to be relegated, leaving some teams now, only battling for a Champions League spot.
