‘This Is Us’ Star Chrissy Metz Amazes Fans At ‘Power of Women’ Charity Event After Losing 100 Pounds

Chrissy Metz recently made an appearance at the Nashville event The Power of Women, showcasing her impressive 100-pound weight loss.

So, who exactly is this 44-year-old actress? She was seen donning a vibrant pastel mini dress adorned in pink, blue, and yellow shades.

Her outfit was perfectly suited for spring, featuring a V-neckline with playful ruffles and short sleeves.

The star of This Is Us added a unique flair to her look with standout white cowboy boots.

This appearance comes nearly a month after she shared insights about her health journey, including fitness routines that have helped her maintain her shape.

In a recent interview, Metz opened up about her new dedication to strength training, noting, “I’ve always enjoyed strength training. I’ve always enjoyed lifting weights.” She mentioned her preference for it over traditional cardio exercises.

“I don’t want to run unless I’m being chased,” she joked while discussing her upcoming children’s book, When I Talk to God, I Talk About Emotions.

Metz expressed admiration for her trainer as they’ve both been on personal transformations regarding weight loss.

She added, “To us, ‘Why are you doing this?’ is about more than just the physical aspect.” Metz emphasized her long-term goals for health and strength.

“I want to age as well as I can and be strong. That’s really the motivating factor behind everything,” she shared.

Living in Nashville, she explained that concerns about aging-related issues like osteoporosis and arthritis heavily influence her health priorities.

“I literally focus on this because I’m anxious about aging and its challenges. It’s really about staying strong and flexible,” she remarked.

While her training schedule may vary based on her commitments, she approaches each activity—be it working out, gardening, or woodworking—with enthusiasm.

She mentioned, “I love getting physical,” and casually walks for a bit every day.

When asked about her views on the use of Ozempic, Metz maintained a thoughtful perspective, stating, “That’s something I find very personal.”

“If you’re not hurting anyone, including yourself, I think you should do what feels right for your body and mind,” she added.

The Nashville event, hosted by Melissa Joan Hart, emphasized the vital roles women play, particularly in the country music scene.
