Hermann, Missouri – A crash involving multiple trolleys left 32 people injured early Saturday morning, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The bus was reportedly carrying at least 41 individuals, and the injuries sustained by those affected ranged from minor to severe. The ages of the victims spanned from 27 to 68 years.
The incident occurred around 10:45 AM on Highway 100, located just southwest of Hermann, roughly 80 miles west of St. Louis.
According to investigators, the bus was traveling west when the driver over-corrected, veering from the left side of the road and subsequently hitting a ditch.
The 45-year-old driver suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
Among the injured, three others were listed as seriously hurt, while 11 experienced moderate injuries and 17 had minor injuries. All the injured were transported to hospitals for care or as a precaution.
Emergency responders, including firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs from the Hermann Volunteer Fire Station, arrived at the scene within 40 minutes.
