Glendale, Arizona – A tragic incident occurred on Sunday night where nine individuals were fatally shot at a restaurant near Phoenix, according to police reports.
Moroni Mendes, an officer with the Glendale Police Department, shared details during a briefing at the scene, stating that officers responded to reports of gunfire at El Camaron Gigante Mariscos & Steakhouse around 7:45 PM.
The initial inquiry did not clarify the exact number of victims, though Mendes indicated it was estimated to be “about nine.”
Details regarding the medical condition of the victims were not readily available.
Authorities suspect that multiple shooters were involved in the attack. While no individuals were in custody initially, several people were being interrogated by investigators, Mendes noted.
