Olivia “Livvy” Dunn faced some challenges during her “rider-up” call to kick off the 2025 Kentucky Oaks, which took place the day before the Kentucky Derby.
The former LSU gymnast responded on TikTok to a viewer who remarked that it was “a tough watch.” She mentioned, “I couldn’t hear myself because of the microphone’s ultrasound,” adding a hint of frustration.
To another comment about people being unkind to her, she simply replied, “Yes.” It seemed she was trying to concentrate while appearing to read from a teleprompter, looking down often.
Regardless of the glitches, Dan, who is dating All-Star Pirates pitcher Paul Skens, looked stunning in a pink dress featuring side cutouts.
Earlier, Dunn had announced her retirement from gymnastics following LSU’s loss at the NCAA Championship. She also showcased a lovely black and white polka dot dress on Derby day.
On Saturday, Olympian Simone Biles delivered the “rider-up” call to start the race at the historic 151st Kentucky Derby in Churchill Downs, Louisville, while attending with her husband, Chicago Bears Safety Jonathan Owens.
Biles had just been out at the Kentucky Derby and Formula 1 event in Miami over the previous weekend, and notable athletes like Joe Burrow, Saquon Barkley, and Kyle Kuzma were spotted at the Florida festival.
