All the royal families gathered together.
King Charles, joined by other royals, stood on the Buckingham Palace balcony to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, just days after Prince Harry spoke about feeling disconnected from his family during a striking interview with the BBC.
The 76-year-old king was accompanied by Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, as well as their children, including Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, the Duke of Kent, and Prince Edward.
They witnessed a flypast at Buckingham Palace celebrating eight decades since the conclusion of World War II in Europe. A procession featuring 23 aircraft, including the Red Arrows, flew overhead.
The royal family waved at the large crowd below. Prince Louis, age 7, known for his playful antics during royal events, amusingly banged on the edge of the balcony, pretending to play the drums.
Before this, William and Middleton brought their three children to the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace for the initial VE Day commemoration.
During the ceremony, Louis was seen pulling at his father’s jacket and making silly faces, keeping the atmosphere light-hearted.
More updates are anticipated…
