National Intelligence Director Tarsi Gabbard visited the US Army at Camp McCall, a training base in North Carolina, on Friday.
During her time there, Gabbard explored ways to work closely with military leaders and enhance military intelligence operations aimed at ensuring the safety and freedom of Americans.
Gabbard also took part in early morning training alongside “50 fighters from America’s elite special forces.”
Training photos on the whiteboard showcased activities like burpees, squats, kettlebell swings, lunges, flutter kicks, planks, and Russian twists performed by Gabbard and the special forces teams.
Joe Kent, newly appointed as the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, expressed his pride in joining Gabbard for this training experience with special forces leaders.
“It was an honor to be part of @TulsiGabbard,” Kent shared in a social media post.
Following breakfast at Confusion Hall, Gabbard attended Camp McCall’s Leadership Development Course, engaging with special forces trainers and personnel.
“You chose this path because you want to face challenges, tackle tough problems, and be at the forefront,” Gabbard remarked to the military audience. “This is crucial, given the current global situation and the president’s leadership style.”
She added, “I appreciate that he leads with decisiveness, solves issues, and delivers results without micromanaging.”
After her visit to Camp McCall, Gabbard participated in the change of command for 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg. She also toured the US Army Special Operations Command, where she engaged with senior leaders and discussed with Army Special Operations students.
“It’s remarkable how the unique capabilities of small teams can have strategic effects that reach the president, potentially acting as a game-changer,” Gabbard stated. “So, approach this with excitement and courage; you possess the ability to advance our nation and ensure the safety of the American people.”
