Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce opted to skip the red carpet at the Met Gala.
This exciting couple received invitations for the event, but due to scheduling conflicts, they decided not to attend, as reported.
Swift, who has previously graced the Met Gala, along with 35-year-old Kelce, managed to keep a low profile during the NFL offseason.
According to reports, the couple enjoyed a “great escape” together away from the limelight after the Chiefs triumphed in the Super Bowl against the Eagles in February.
A source mentioned, “Much of their time is spent just relaxing at home. Even with their fame, they are just like any other couple.”
Swift and Kelce, who were first linked in 2023, generated a media buzz, especially with the 14-time Grammy winner being a regular at Chiefs’ games over the last two seasons.
During the Super Bowl on February 9, Swift was there cheering for Kelce, even as the Chiefs faced disappointment against the Eagles.
Afterward, the 10-time Pro Bowler took some time to think about his future in the NFL before announcing his return to the Chiefs in late February during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Kelce expressed confidence in his team’s future, stating, “We got into the best shape this offseason, and we want to redeem ourselves after that last game.”
In the regular season, Kelce recorded 97 receptions, three touchdowns, and 823 yards over 16 games—a notable improvement compared to his performance in 2023.
Now in his 13th NFL season, he continues to push forward.
Meanwhile, Swift has been taking some time for herself after wrapping up her blockbuster ERAS tour, which spanned nearly two years. Kelce made several appearances at her tour stops, including a notable cameo during one of her London shows last summer.
