In a delightful evening in New York City, our favorite newlyweds from Philadelphia made quite an impression.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and his wife Bryonna “Bry” Burrows showcased their charm at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday.
Looking dapper in a black double-breasted suit embellished with floral embroidery by Burberry, Hurts, 26, turned heads. Meanwhile, Burrows dazzled in a stunning maroon dress that featured dramatic thigh-high slits, as noted in a release from the British fashion house.
The night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art also revolved around Hurts’ recent discussion regarding his former college girlfriend, which he revealed last month.
“You can call her my wife,” Hurts stated in an interview.
Having crossed paths at the University of Alabama back in 2016, Hurts played there for three seasons before transferring to Oklahoma in 2019. He mentioned he felt a connection with Burrows for quite some time.
“I knew a long time ago,” he shared in a conversation with Essence. “At this stage in my life, it’s an irreplaceable feeling. I believe that’s what brought us to this point.”
The couple got engaged in September 2024, and just a few months later, they celebrated on the field at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Hurts had a standout performance, throwing for 221 yards, with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions, leading to an impressive 40-22 victory for Philadelphia on February 9th during the Super Bowl.
It wasn’t just the Hurts who made an appearance at the Met Gala; his Eagles teammate Saquon Barkley also joined the festivities.
Returning to the Met Gala for the first time in six years, Barkley looked sharp as he attended the high-profile event solo, although his fiancé Anna Condon shared a picture of him on her Instagram story prior to the red carpet.
The couple has been together since their college days in Pennsylvania and has two children.
