Elon Musk’s address has allegedly been leaked.

The Intercept has reported that the New York Times (NYT) inadvertently revealed Elon Musk’s home address in a piece published on May 5th.

The article, titled “Would you be my neighbor? Thanks to Elon Musk,” addresses complaints made by a neighbor concerning a $6 million residence Musk owns in Westlake Hills, Texas. Interestingly, the initial feature image in the article included Musk’s address, as seen in the zoning complaint document. The NYT has since updated the images in the article, stating that they make corrections when needed.

Intercept verified the address as belonging to Musk through various sources, including online maps and real estate listings, noting that this residence is also listed in documents related to Musk’s father’s court case. After the Intercept inquired about the address, the NYT quickly changed the accompanying photo.

In 2022, Musk’s social media platform X had suspended an account that was tracking the locations of the tech mogul’s private jets.

Musk shared in a 2020 interview with the Wall Street Journal that he had relocated to Texas, citing business opportunities as a key reason for his move.

As of now, Musk has not provided a comment regarding the situation.
