Steph Curry leaves Game 1 due to hamstring strain, raising concerns for the Warriors

Warriors Face Unforeseen Challenge in Playoffs

At the start of their second-round playoff series, the Warriors likely didn’t anticipate the kind of disruption they encountered.

Stephen Curry concluded his initial matchup with the Timberwolves on Tuesday night, leaving the game due to hamstring tension with 8:19 left in the second quarter.

Unfortunately, he was declared out for the rest of the game.

Curry began strong, scoring 13 points, along with one rebound and one assist, hitting 3 out of 6 from beyond the arc while the Golden State led 44-31 at the half.

Things took a turn when Curry appeared to grab at his left hamstring during the second quarter. His expression seemed to change as he struggled with the ball, which was noticeable.

Brandin Podziemski took to the floor as Curry went back to the locker room.

If the Warriors find themselves without Curry for an extended period, that could severely impact their chances, especially considering they’re facing Minnesota, who pulled off a surprise elimination of the Lakers in the first round. Losing Curry’s presence is a significant blow.

Golden State has emerged from a tough seven-game series against the sixth-seeded Rockets.
