Aaron Rodgers’ friend has ‘no news’ after ring sparks wedding speculation

Aaron Rodgers, even to his close friends, remains somewhat of an enigma.

On a recent episode of ESPN’s show hosted by Pat McAfee, Hawk discussed Rodgers’ personal life, particularly following the quarterback’s recent status as a free agent.

Hawk and Rodgers attended the Barnstable Brown Gala on Derby Eve last Friday, mingling with former teammates like Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Jimmy Graham, Corey Lindsley, and David Bakhtiari. Rodgers, who had previously disclosed a relationship with Brittany in December, sparked questions often left unanswered.

“Honestly, it’s surprising; there haven’t been any updates on the situation,” Hawk admitted.

Interestingly, he chose not to ask Rodgers about the ring he was seen wearing.

Recently, Rodgers mentioned being in a “serious relationship,” and Hawk remarked, “He looks great physically. He definitely takes care of himself… he’s in fantastic shape right now.”

McAfee, a longtime friend of Rodgers, pointed out that the quarterback intentionally posed to highlight the ring on his left hand.

On his Monday show, McAfee referred to it as a “transparent wedding ring.” When he asked Hawk if it was a “wedding party” situation for Rodgers in Louisville, Hawk noted that the group was “a little surprised” by the ring.

“From what we knew, it wasn’t a wedding party, but honestly, we were all taken aback,” Hawk noted. “I mean, I really can’t say for sure. With Rodgers, it’s tough to get clear answers sometimes. He seems very happy and is clearly doing well.”

When he appeared on the “Pat McAfee Show” last month, Rodgers shared that he’s been focusing on his personal life while keeping options open for the future.

“I had some personal matters needing my attention, especially regarding my mental state and the constraints in my life right now,” he explained. “I’m open to anything, feeling unbound at the moment. But I’m primarily concentrating on my personal life, and that’s shared with my coach. There’s still dialogue to be had.”

Before Brittany, Rodgers was engaged to actress Shailene Woodley, but they ended things in early 2022.
