An alarming video captures the moment a young man was stabbed during a chaotic brawl on Wednesday in broad daylight.
The footage, which surfaced recently, shows a group of four attackers, seemingly teenagers, chasing a 19-year-old victim on Ridgewood block moments before the violent incident around 10:45 am.
One of the assailants appears to linger before joining the fray. The victim can be seen attempting to defend himself against the aggressive group, throwing punches in a desperate effort.
During the confrontation, the victim was stabbed in the head outside a fast-food restaurant located on Myrtle Avenue, near Wyckoff Avenue, according to police reports.
He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
As of late afternoon, none of the attackers had been apprehended.
The group calmly departed the scene, with one suspect identifiable by a skull design on a black hoodie, who was seen retrieving a knife from the sidewalk.
Another assailant was noted to be wearing a bright red sweatsuit.
The reasons behind this violent altercation remain unclear.
