Colombo: A military helicopter went down in a reservoir in Sri Lanka on Friday, resulting in the deaths of six service members.
The Sri Lankan Air Force Bell 212 crashed in the Madur Oya region, as confirmed by the Ministry of Defense.
This incident occurred during an attempt to perform a demonstration at the Army Special Forces Brigade’s passing parade.
The casualties include two members from the Air Force and four from the special forces.
In response, the Sri Lankan Air Force has established a nine-member committee to look into the circumstances of the crash.
