The University of North Carolina has reportedly decided that Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, and her association as his “muse” are not welcomed at the university’s football facility.
In a recent episode of Pablo Torre finds it, host Pablo Torre shared that UNC informed Belichick that it would be best for her to stay away from the facility.
“According to two sources at the University of North Carolina, a decision was made last week by someone in the athletic department regarding Jordon Hudson, whom Belichick brought on board as a high-profile hire, making him the highest-paid civil servant coach at $10 million a year. Hudson is now banned from the football facilities,” Torre reported. “She’s not allowed at the soccer field either.”
Torre also expressed, “I haven’t heard much from Jordon since this happened.”
While Hudson hasn’t directly commented on the situation, she did retweet a post criticizing the report.
“We live in a culture quick to leap to conspiracies, so it’s essential to be cautious with speculation. However, this feels like an attempt to undermine Belichick and Hudson. It’s part of a bigger scheme.”
Torre further mentioned, “Belichick’s family is quite worried about the situation,” emphasizing concerns about not only UNC but also the impact on Belichick’s legacy and reputation, given his long-standing career.”
If the report is accurate, it represents a significant chapter in Belichick’s career. As an older coach transitioning into college football, he’s untested outside the NFL realm. Will he really bring Hudson to the field then to a facility in New England?
It seems unlikely.
And that’s exactly the issue. North Carolina understands that Belichick might not be a long-term commitment. At best, they may have him for just a year or two before he potentially returns to the NFL or pursues a more prominent college position. They are investing heavily in him, but they want his dedication to the program to match what he demonstrated in New England.
Honestly, is that too much to ask?
