The Women’s College Softball Conference Tournament is on the horizon this weekend, setting the stage for Oklahoma City, which has been the traditional host for the Women’s College World Series.
Oklahoma, coached by Patty Grasso, has claimed the national championship title four times. However, this year’s fifth consecutive championship isn’t a given. Teams such as Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Florida are stepping up, with D1Softball.com ranking the Aggies and Razorbacks first and second, while USA Softball has Texas A&M at the top. I mean, it’s entirely possible that one of these SEC teams could lift the trophy in June.
This tournament features talented players, captivating narratives, and numerous teams vying for a chance to reach the World Series. Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about this year’s event.
What is the format of the NCAA Women’s Softball Tournament?
