Silicon Valley’s ‘demons’: Transhumanists influenced by something ‘against humanity’

Transhumanism and AI: A Current Discussion

Joe Allen, a notable figure in the realms of AI and transhumanism, currently serves as the transhumanism editor at “Bannon’s Warroom.” He emphasizes that transhumanism isn’t just a concept for the future; it’s unfolding right now.

This ideology explores the blending of humans and machines, and, at this moment, it involves millions of people glued to their smartphones. This reliance, he insists, isn’t what we should aspire to.

Allen expresses the belief that “power lies in the courts of transhumanists,” though Shanahan has a deep connection to Silicon Valley.

“I’ve been part of this world for 15 years. I really loved it,” Shanahan comments. “I’m all about the organic side of things. For a time, I tried Botox, but I eventually walked away from it.”

She continues, “I find natural human biology incredibly beautiful. There’s something innately desirable about every living organism. That’s where the collective desire seems to lie. You can see reflections of this in movies like Mad Max 2, which highlight pure, organic femininity.”

“Having lived in Silicon Valley for so long, I’ve witnessed a trend. I’ve seen powerful men gravitating toward organic women, almost like the Greek oracles,” she observes.

Shanahan also points out that these tech elites can be “spirals” and have been consumed by greed in their pursuit of certain types of women.

Take Burning Man Festival, for instance. “It revolves around creating these mini harems around these influential men, with young women circling them.”

Allen poses a thought-provoking question: “Do these technocrats have a genuine yet misguided ambition for a transhuman future, or is there something more malevolent at play?”

Shanahan critiques, “I think they’ve lost a bit of their humanity. There’s an obsession with something very anti-human. They’re manipulative; it’s like they’re trained in this.”

While she admits her understanding isn’t complete, she recognizes that there are barriers to humanity as she sees it. “I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is. I know there are Christian perspectives on it.”

Allen interjects, “Demon seems like an appropriate term.”
