Did Nicola Peltz just make a comment about her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham?

Victoria Beckham didn’t appear in Nicola Peltz’s Mother’s Day tribute this weekend, as ongoing rumors of family tensions grow.

Peltz, who is married to Brooklyn Beckham, David, and Victoria’s son, posted an emotional message for her mother, Claudia Hefner Peltz, on Instagram. Surprisingly, she didn’t mention Victoria at all, which has led fans to speculate about underlying friction.

“Happy Mother’s Day to My Queen,” the 30-year-old actress wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I can’t believe how lucky I am to be your daughter. You are the most beautiful person I’ve ever met. You inspire me every day.”

“I love you more than I can express,” she added. “You are incredibly special, always putting others first. I hope you feel cherished today. I love you more.”

She also dedicated another post to her late grandmother, commemorating her first Mother’s Day since her passing in May 2024.

“My first Mother’s Day without you was really hard,” Peltz wrote of her grandmother. “I miss you more than you could ever know.”

Representatives for Peltz were contacted for comment.

Reportedly, the relationship between Peltz and Victoria has been tense. Earlier this month, Brooklyn and Peltz missed David’s 50th birthday celebration, which raised eyebrows since they tied the knot in April 2022.

Insiders suggested Brooklyn didn’t attend because he disapproved of a relationship with Kim Turnbull, which he reportedly had years ago. While some sources deny the Turnbull rumors, the idea of “bad blood” between Brooklyn, Peltz, and the rest of the Beckham family continues to circulate.

According to an insider, Brooklyn declined an invitation to the birthday party, prompting further family drama. “They’re all a bit on edge now,” the source claimed.

“It’s frustrating for David and Victoria, especially since they’ve always hoped for a close-knit family,” they added.

Meanwhile, David attempted to address the rumors by including Brooklyn in a Mother’s Day post featuring Victoria. Alongside a nostalgic photo of Victoria with their three sons and daughter Harper, the football icon wished her a Happy Mother’s Day.

David also tagged his sons, including Brooklyn, in heartfelt posts.
