An undocumented individual is connected to the violent gang rape of a 16-year-old girl in Harris County, Texas, as reported by former US authorities.
David Argueta Marquez, a 29-year-old undocumented immigrant from El Salvador, was apprehended in Kinper, Kentucky, on charges related to child endangerment and aggravated sexual assault.
“We are proud to participate in collaborative efforts aimed at removing violent and unlawful foreigners from our country,” said Michael Bales from the former US Bureau of Security. “Argueta-Marquez’s arrest serves as a clear warning to other fugitives: You could be next!”
Reports suggest that Argueta Marquez was one of four men who allegedly coerced a 16-year-old girl and assaulted her with a firearm in Harris County on November 22, 2022.
He is currently under investigation by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) concerning alleged gang affiliations with the 18th Avenue group in El Salvador. He is in police custody and will be extradited to Texas to face charges of kidnapping and child sexual assault.
