The Major Deception: Assistants discussed placing Biden in a wheelchair

There’s something quite captivating about President Trump’s acceptance of a $400 million jet from Qatar, even amid some awkward moments and the reactions from conservative media.

But it’s worth noting he’s not the only president facing scrutiny. More on that in a bit.

Ben Shapiro, who founded the Daily Wire, has labeled the arrangement “skeezy,” arguing that such a “gift” isn’t born from altruism but carries its own agenda.

Even Laura Rumer, usually an ally, might criticize President Trump for accepting Qatar’s lavish jet.

In a recent editorial by National Review titled “Poison Flat Surface,” concerns were raised about the potential security threats posed by such a plane, especially with various places in a jumbo jet where listening devices could be hidden. They mention that while some security measures could be implemented, the ethical implications are significant.

Furthermore, it adds that Qatar is not exactly a friend to the U.S., funding anti-American broadcasts through Al Jazeera and supporting groups like Hamas, contributing to attacks in recent years. The commentary insists there’s nothing beneficial about a U.S. president feeling indebted to a government like that.

Veteran conservative radio host Eric Erikson highlighted that Attorney General Pam Bondy is a lobbyist for Qatar, reportedly receiving $119,000 a month for her efforts.

Laura Loomer, a steadfast Trump defender, referred to the deal as a “stain” on the presidency. Yet, the president defended his choice, saying perhaps he was being “silly” in trying to accept gifts to save money.

Meanwhile, Biden’s aides reveal troubling insights if he were to be reelected, as shared in a new book by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson.

The book uncovers serious concerns about how Biden’s health has declined since his debates with Trump. It’s suggested that Biden’s mental acuity has notably diminished, a factor that has kept him distanced from both the media and even members of his own team.

Included are details about discussions among Biden’s aides about the severe physical decline he suffered in 2023 and 2024, to the point where there was talk of whether he might need a wheelchair in a forthcoming campaign.

The book, titled “The Original Crime: President Biden’s Decline, Concealment, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” mentions significant degeneration of Biden’s spinal health, which raised alarms among his close circle ahead of a potential second term at age 81.

Additionally, it reveals efforts by the White House to conceal the true state of Biden’s health, even at risk to his own well-being, as he faces a formidable reelection battle against Trump.

It’s interesting to consider: Trump faces criticism for his choice regarding Qatar’s plane, and many see that as far worse than Biden’s situation. It’s reminiscent of how Franklin D. Roosevelt’s wheelchair was often obscured by the press, a stark contrast to today’s less forgiving media landscape.

In another story, George Clooney apparently felt snubbed when Biden didn’t recognize him at a fundraiser. This was mentioned in a recent article.

The author’s account reflects the deep frustrations from Biden’s advisors, indicating they see his reelection campaign as a nightmare. They believe he is making poor strategic choices by trying to stay visible and engage with the media.

Biden’s team felt that using a wheelchair publicly during the campaign would be politically catastrophic—something they clearly wanted to avoid.

His doctor, Kevin O’Connor, expressed concerns over Biden’s health, urging the team to allow for more rest, worryingly stating, “I’m trying to keep him alive, and you’re trying to kill him.” He noted that another serious fall could force a wheelchair for recovery. One bad incident could change everything.

Moreover, there were moments where Biden didn’t even recognize Clooney—the very same individual who helped raise significant funds for him merely needed to remind the president of who he was. Clooney later suggested in an op-ed that Biden consider stepping aside. It’s a truly tumultuous time in politics.
