DOHA, Qatar – President Trump arrived in Qatar on Wednesday, accompanied by eight fighter jets, marking the second stop of his tour across three Middle Eastern nations.
Earlier, on Tuesday morning, Saudi Arabia, a notable partner in the region, provided six fighter jet escorts for his arrival.
While onboard Air Force One, a journalist noted four Qatar jets visible from the right side of the aircraft, and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt shared additional footage showing four more jets on the left.
Trump’s tour also covers the United Arab Emirates, although there are no planned visits to Israel.
Speaking to reporters, Trump mentioned the positive implications of his visit for Israel, which followed his discussions with leaders from Syria and Saudi Arabia aimed at fostering diplomatic ties.
“This is beneficial for Israel, and I have strong relationships with these nations. Overall, I think this is quite positive for Israel,” Trump remarked.
