Cathy informed the judge that Sean “Diddy” Combs had invited Britney Spears to his 21st birthday celebration.
The event took place at a Las Vegas club, where Combs extended the invitation to Spears along with singer and producer Dallas Austin.
On September 8, 2007, Britney Spears, Diddy, Paris Hilton, and Dallas Austin were part of the festivities marking Combs’ entrance into adulthood.
Diddy had previously produced for Spears, and their relationship began to evolve romantically when she turned 21.
During the birthday party at Hard Rock in Las Vegas, Cathy mentioned that Diddy and Spears shared their first kiss that night, marking a significant turn in their relationship.
Cathy recounted, “Sean was there, and he brought in Dallas Austin and Britney Spears. I think those two really stood out to me.”
Previously, she described their dynamic as strictly professional until that night when the kiss changed everything.
