Imagine being cut off from the outside world for 90 days. It’s all in the name of competing on a game show. That’s the experience Mike Brown faced on “What Did You Miss?” an exclusive game show on Fox Nation, hosted by Greg Gutfeld.
After winning $28,000, Brown shared insights about the challenge during an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” describing it as unexpectedly tough. He reflected, “I thought it would be easier.”
Fox News recently made headlines for achieving remarkable viewership numbers for weekday programming.
During their isolation in upstate New York from January 20 to April 13, contestants had to discern real news headlines from fake ones. Brown noted how they occasionally discussed stories among themselves, wishing for less challenging questions. “It was all there; much more intense than I had anticipated,” he mentioned to Lawrence Jones.
With no access to phones, internet, or any sort of social media, the contestants found themselves genuinely unprepared for the game. Though Brown left as the winner, he acknowledged the sacrifices he had to make. “I didn’t think it would be that hard,” he admitted. “I assumed I would miss my wife and children.”
He explained that missing moments like Valentine’s Day—his first absence in 22 years—was particularly hard. He also regretted missing his son’s 16th birthday, a significant milestone. “We talk all the time; we’re always together. It felt really heartbreaking,” he added.
