President Trump has reignited his feud with Taylor Swift, suggesting that her popularity is declining, and implying he’s partially responsible. He recently declared, “I said, ‘I hate Taylor Swift,’ and did anyone say she’s ‘not hot’ anymore?” on his social media platform.
This animosity dates back to last year’s presidential election when he expressed his disdain for Swift after she endorsed Kamala Harris in a message to her massive Instagram following of over 280 million.
Trump’s comments come on the heels of Swift’s highly successful “The Eras Tour.”
Swift has not held back in her criticisms of Trump, previously stating in a 2019 interview that he “gaslights the American people.” She also emphasized the importance of democracy, suggesting that Trump may view dissent as a threat to his authority.
