Justin Bieber Stands in Support of Victims Amid Diddy Charges
In Los Angeles, singer Justin Bieber clarified that he is not among the victims of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing federal sex trafficking allegations. However, Bieber expressed his support for others pursuing justice against the hip-hop mogul.
Bieber rose to fame as a teenager and had interactions with Combs, which led to online rumors about potential abuse. A representative for Bieber stated, “Justin isn’t among the victims of Sean Combs, but there are individuals who have been really hurt by him.” The spokesperson emphasized the importance of not diverting attention from the real issues at hand, as it undermines the justice these victims rightly deserve.
While neither Bieber’s nor Combs’ representatives have commented further, Combs, now 55, has pleaded not guilty to several serious charges, including conspiracy and sex trafficking, at a trial in Manhattan.
Combs’ legal team has argued that he has not coerced anyone into sexual acts, asserting that his alleged activities, including the so-called “freak-off,” were consensual.
Bieber, now 31, became widely recognized at age 13 after being discovered on YouTube, and his name came up in discussions when allegations against Combs surfaced online. A 2009 video on Bieber’s YouTube showcased the duo spending time together, where Combs remarked about their time, saying, “That’s definitely a 15-year-old dream.” When asked what he wanted to do, the young Bieber jokingly responded, “Let’s go and get a girl.”
They also shared the stage on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in 2011 and collaborated on a song called “Moments” in 2023.
