Bezos and Sanchez’s Wedding Plans May Be Modest
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding might not create the widespread stir that was first anticipated.
When they exchanged vows in Venice at the end of June, it seems they decided to keep the celebration more intimate. Sources mentioned that the guest list would be limited, with just family and close friends attending—under 200 in total.
As for any celebrity performances, rumors about Lady Gaga and Elton John performing were dismissed as “fake” by insiders. It seems the idea was a bit outlandish.
The Amazon founder, who is the second richest person globally, and Sanchez reportedly are looking at a celebratory budget that could range from approximately $950,000 to $11 million for the event.
The guest list will reportedly include notable names such as Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, as well as Kris and Kim Kardashian, and Katy Perry with Orlando Bloom.
The couple will host their guests at Aman Venice and Gritty Palace, both luxurious options that could cost around $500,000.
Additionally, their wedding yacht—a stunning 417-foot sailing vessel—along with docking fees, could add another $500,000 to the bill. And then, there are all the other expenses: entertainment, photographers, planners, flights, food, and, of course, attire.
While a representative for Bezos hasn’t commented yet, it’s clear that this couple’s big day is shaping up to be quite the affair—though perhaps not the extravagant spectacle some might have imagined.
