Jordon Hudson, Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, mentioned that at least one engagement was in the works, as reported by Athletic on Tuesday.
Details about the nuptials are scarce, but it adds an interesting twist to Hudson’s story, considering her connection to Belichick, a 73-year-old football coach and a former cheerleader from Bridgewater State.
This news follows Hudson’s appearance last month at a luncheon with Belichick at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, where she was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand, fueling speculation about an engagement.
Upton Bell, a former Patriots general manager, expressed thoughts on the situation, stating, “It’s ironic that the guy who controlled everything is now being controlled by others.”
He further added, “You can’t really say the woman is in control; it becomes a matter of self-control.”
The news of Belichick’s relationship with Hudson broke last June, following his split from the Patriots in January after an extensive 24-year tenure and six Super Bowl victories.
The couple has generated considerable media attention, especially after a particularly poignant interview Belichick gave on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
