Biden spokesperson states that the former president’s last prostate cancer screening was in 2014.

Joe Biden’s Health Update Raises Concerns

A spokesperson for former President Joe Biden announced that he had received a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test back in 2014. On Tuesday, the spokesperson reiterated that Biden “has never been diagnosed” with any related health issues before a recent diagnosis was disclosed on Friday.

“President Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer before Friday,” the official stated, addressing rumors about the 82-year-old potentially being diagnosed while in office.

On Sunday, Biden’s private office revealed that he had been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer. This news has understandably raised concerns among the public.

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen following the discovery of prostate nodules after experiencing increased urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (grade group 5), indicating metastasis to the bone,” the statement explained.

“This represents a more aggressive form of the disease, but cancer is hormone-sensitive and allows for effective management,” the statement added.

Interestingly, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the White House physician and a longtime friend of the Bidens, did not reference the PSA test in Biden’s most recent physical examination from February 2024.

“It’s possible that O’Connor knows well that they discussed PSA tests, and since many older men often have false positives, perhaps they chose not to conduct it to avoid unnecessary stress or speculation,” noted a longtime assistant to Biden.

“There’s certainly a record for blood tests. It seems they might have simply opted out of the test. If you’re trying to hide something significant and skip the PSA test, you might miss out,” the assistant added.

“The irony here is striking,” he continued. “If the decision to skip the PSA test was based on the fear of a false positive image, this very choice could contribute to grave consequences for the president’s health.”

Dr. Ezekiel Emmanuel, who previously served on Biden’s Covid-19 Advisory Committee, suggested that Biden’s cancer was likely at least in its second stage.

“This is not just speculation. If a person has prostate cancer that has spread to the bone, would you not conclude that he likely had it during his presidency?” co-host Joe Scarborough posed to Dr. Emmanuel.

“Definitely, he didn’t develop it in the last few months. He likely had it while he was in office,” Dr. Emmanuel responded. “It’s possible he had it since the early days of his presidency in 2021.”

“He may have been growing and spreading this for many years, maybe even a decade,” Dr. Emmanuel remarked. “I don’t believe there’s any disagreement on that point.”
