Celebrity Row at the Eastern Conference Finals
Last night at Madison Square Garden, several stars gathered to cheer for the Knicks during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers.
Olivia “Livvy” Dunne, who was recently named the cover star of the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, shared a glimpse of her excitement on Instagram. She wore a Knicks hat while enjoying the game from her yard in New York.
Other notable attendees included Martha Stewart, John Hamm, and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” stars Larry David and Susie Esman, all of whom were seen courtside.
Additionally, passionate Knicks fans like Timothee Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, and Ben Stiller showed their support, with Chalamet and Stiller sharing a jovial conversation from their prime seats.
Morgan, in particular, was dressed in a shirt featuring Knicks guard Josh Hart with the slogan “Standing on Bidness,” reminiscent of his appearance during the Knicks’ semi-final series.
Plenty of sports figures were also spotted at the game, including former Knicks teammates Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith, as well as notable alumni like Patrick Ewing and John Starks.
Being in Celebrity Row is quite a privilege, especially during the playoffs, and tickets are exclusively by invitation. There’s an unparalleled aura of glamour that surrounds it, yet it also brings long wait times.
This matchup was a rehash of last season’s Eastern Conference semi-finals, where the Pacers had the upper hand. It’s worth noting that Knicks fans have been eager for a triumphant return to the conference finals after 25 years, hoping to improve on their past defeat against the Pacers in 2000.
Emotions were certainly high among both teams’ supporters as the Knicks celebrated their previous victory over the Boston Celtics, securing their spot in the finals.
If the Knicks manage to take Game 1, the atmosphere will be electric, reminiscent of the joy when they previously celebrated a past win.
In a collaborative effort with Madison Square Garden Sports, the New York City Department of Transportation has announced plans to install temporary street signs to mark the occasion.
As the Pacers advanced to the conference finals for the second consecutive year, having defeated the Cavaliers recently, excitement is only set to build in the upcoming games. Game 2 will take place in New York before the series shifts to Indiana for games 3 and 4 at Gainbridge Field House.
