Suspect Identified in Fatal Shooting of Israeli Embassy Staffers
Authorities have named the primary suspect in the tragic shooting of two staff members from the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C. that took place Wednesday night.
Elias Rodriguez, 30, from Chicago, was seen near the Jewish Museum prior to the incident. Following the shooting, he reportedly entered the museum and was apprehended by security personnel, according to police officer Pamela Smith.
Witnesses, as noted by Breitbart News, reported that Rodriguez shouted “Free, free Palestine” as he was taken into custody.
As of now, it is unclear whether Rodriguez has legal representation available for comment.
The contact number on the official records remains unanswered.
President Donald Trump expressed outrage over the事件, stating on social media Thursday morning, “These horrifying DC murders, clearly based on anti-Semitism, have to end now! Hate and radicalism have no place in America.”
