Pro-Hamas groups rejoice over the killing of Israeli diplomats outside a Jewish museum in Washington DC

Pro-Hamas groups and others with ties to Iran have expressed support for the violent murders of two embassy staff at the Israeli Embassy located in the Jewish Museum of Washington, DC, calling it a “heroic attack.”

A media group affiliated with Hamas, Gaza Now, praised 31-year-old Elias Rodriguez, considering him a supporter of Zionism, after the tragic incidents that claimed the lives of soon-to-be engaged couple Jaron Lisinski, 28, and Sarah Milgrim, 26. Such reporting was noted by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

“In a moment of courage, he decided to raise his voice and boldly confront the murderer,” the group stated on Telegram, referring to the embassy personnel.

Lisinski and Milgrim had been engaged in work aimed at fostering peace between Israelis and Palestinians, participating in discussions focusing on potential assistance for Gaza.

The Pro-Hamas faction and the Palestinian Mujahideen movement celebrated this incident publicly.

The Palestinian Mujahideen movement indicated that the shooting reflected a “growth of global rage” directed at Israel amid the ongoing war in Gaza, illustrating a broader context of discontent.
