“From the get-go, we envisioned the show as a five-season journey,” said showrunner Sascha Penn. “We just weren’t sure where the story would take us. Knowing the end of Canaan’s story presents some challenges, but it seems folks are interested in the ride. Five seasons feels like the right fit for me.”
When will Raising Canaan return with new episodes?
Production on Season 5 is done, but the premiere date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Season 3 wrapped up in February 2024, and Season 4 kicked off in March 2025. Based on this timeline, we’re anticipating the fifth season to hit Starz sometime between early and mid-2026.
