Kermit the Frog Inspires University of Maryland Graduates

The beloved amphibian made a heartfelt appearance at the University of Maryland’s graduation ceremony, sharing an uplifting message with the class of 2025.

“No matter the size of your dreams, or how impossible they might seem, never lose sight of them,” he urged the enthusiastic crowd.

During his speech, Kermit emphasized that dreams help guide us in life. “They’re essential to understanding our direction,” he said, reminding everyone that life itself is the journey toward those dreams.

This special event was organized as a tribute to Jim Henson, the mastermind behind the Muppets and a proud alumnus of the university. Kermit’s presence served as a delightful nod to Henson’s legacy.
