Adidas Reports Data Breach

Berlin: Adidas, the German sportswear brand, announced on Friday that unauthorized access to consumer data occurred via a third-party customer service provider. Fortunately, no passwords or credit card information were compromised.

The company stated, “We immediately took steps to contain the incident and began a comprehensive investigation in collaboration with key information security experts.”

The breached data mostly includes contact details of consumers who reached out to the Customer Service Help Desk previously.

Additionally, Adidas is in the process of informing potentially affected individuals.
