David Hogg commends Jasmine Crockett for criticizing Trump: We need more individuals like her

David Hogg Supports Jasmine Crockett’s Approach to Gun Control

David Hogg, the vice-chairman of the Democratic National Committee, has publicly praised Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) for her bold tactics against the Trump administration. This comes as gun control advocates are urging Congress to adopt a more aggressive stance, similar to Crockett’s.

Hogg remains committed to his campaign through his organization, aiming to replace older Democrats in Congress with fresh faces who aren’t afraid to challenge the Trump administration. “I really admire her. She’s fantastic,” Hogg expressed during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club. He emphasized that people are eager for leaders who actively fight for meaningful change, citing Crockett’s approach as exactly what is needed.

“We need to consider what we’re truly fighting for. It’s significant, and I believe Jasmine embodies the leadership we need right now. She’s vocal about her beliefs,” he added, noting a rising demand for this type of leadership.

Recently, Crockett defended Congressman Ramonica McQuiver (D-N.J.), who faced allegations of assaulting U.S. immigration agents while arrested outside a Newark location. Crockett labeled the Justice Department’s accusations against McQuiver as “political threats” and a “weaponization of government.”

Meanwhile, Hogg faces potential removal from his DNC position. He claims his election process was flawed and did not adhere to the party’s bylaws, which stress the importance of gender diversity.

“Today, the DNC has initiated steps to remove me from my role as vice-chairman,” Hogg shared in a statement. “While this vote was tied to how the DNC selects its officers, I had no role in it. However, I can’t overlook the broader implications of my efforts to reform the party in connection with this vote,” he said, pointing to recent tragedies, like the death of Congressman Jerry Connolly (D-Va.), as indicative of the need for a new generation of leaders within the party.
