Maha PAC Rebranding for the 2026 Elections

The American Values PAC has been rebranded as Maha PAC, aiming to make an impact in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.

While it seems likely to resonate more with Republican voters and candidates, Maha PAC is also expressing a willingness to support individuals from both political parties.

Gorton mentioned, “We want to see Maha candidates in various voting races.” He also noted that there appears to be a more welcoming attitude from the Republicans towards Maha, saying, “You can see how Democrats, in contrast, are somewhat protective of Maha’s ideas.”

Issues that were once at the forefront for the organization, like promoting healthier food options, have faced considerable opposition, particularly from Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is the current Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Gorton added, “I hope Maha will encourage Democrats to reconnect with their roots and start working for the people again.”

The PAC has also publicly supported Kennedy’s independent presidential campaign for 2024, announcing the rebranding in a Twitter thread.

Co-founder Tony Lyons emphasized in a video about the transition, “Making America healthy again is more than just a slogan. It’s a revolution.”

Along with the PAC’s name change, their blog tracking Kennedy’s policy achievements has also been renamed from “Kennedy Beacon” to the “Maha Report.”

The PAC is actively seeking to establish support for the MAHA movement within Congress and various government agencies, according to Gorton.

He concluded, “Our work is evolving to offer broader political support for this change. Many individuals in government are extraordinary, but they often feel limited by their circumstances. This is something we frequently hear from Congress.”
