Companies and the NFL’s Stance During Pride Month
Some major companies, like Apple, surprised many by opting not to alter their branding to rainbow colors for Pride Month. In stark contrast, it seems Alphabet Mafia continues to exert significant influence over the NFL.
From the league’s 32 teams, just nine chose to stay quiet as June rolled in. This is notable, especially with voices like former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant making their opinions known.
In a recent post on social media, Bryant responded to NFL promotions that supposedly described soccer using terms like “gay,” “lesbian,” and “transgender.” He expressed his disbelief, stating these claims were “wild” and made him feel, well, a bit foolish.
Jason Whitlock, a host on BlazeTV, shared his thoughts on why the league seems reluctant to back down from its current stance, despite growing dissent towards the NFL’s focus on LGBTQ matters.
Whitlock elaborated, suggesting that society is experiencing an unsettling wave of intimidation. He posits that almost every public institution is facing pressure akin to being blackmailed.
Discussing the NFL specifically, he mentioned the ongoing concussion controversy involving Roger Goodell and the league’s ownership. This issue has, according to Whitlock, garnered significant media attention, which in turn puts pressure on the NFL, a prominent leader in American sports.
Whitlock believes this environment forces the NFL to embrace and promote what he describes as “left-wing Marxist agendas.” He posed a rhetorical question about integrating the league with movements like Black Lives Matter and the LGBTQIA+ community, commenting on how conversations around concussions are seemingly being sidetracked by these discussions.
In conclusion, he succinctly asserted, “That’s what happened.”
