Kelly Questions Jean-Pierre’s ABC Rejection
On Thursday, SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly referred to Jean-Pierre as a “silly” former White House press secretary, expressing disbelief that he was denied a hosting position on ABC’s “The View.”
A Politico article published Wednesday indicated that Jean-Pierre was interested in the co-host role on the ABC show as he considered his next steps after leaving the White House. However, it appears he was turned down. During a discussion on “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Kelly and Blaze TV’s Stu Burguiere reflected on how surprising this development could be, given the nature of the Biden administration.
“It’s fascinating how ‘The View’ is seen,” Burguiere noted. “The impact of ‘views’ really seems to captivate people, doesn’t it?”
Kelly responded, “Absolutely. I mean, how could you possibly reject him from ‘The View’? That’s just a bit frightening. Can you imagine? He must have been devastated, maybe even needed some antidepressants to cope.”
An individual who previously worked in the Biden administration stated that, despite being the focus of various profiles, the chance to join “The View” didn’t materialize.
The former press secretary made several appearances on the ABC show while in his role with Biden, consistently advocating for the president’s cognitive abilities, even amidst controversies, such as a debate in July 2024.
Kelly commented, “It’s just ridiculous. They seem to take anyone! It’s wild.” Burguiere added, “You have to think, can you even cross home plate from that far? That’s just unreal. It seems like ‘The View’ is on a quest to find the four least competent people around and assemble them.” He continued, “And then to think they said to him, ‘Sorry, Karine, you’re just too much for us.’”
Revelations concerning the Biden administration gained traction with the release of a book by Jake Tupper and Alex Thompson titled “The Original Sin.” Some sources and former aides have suggested that Biden’s condition has significantly declined since the 2020 election.
Despite Republican critiques regarding Biden’s mental fitness, former officials came to his defense. Faced with videos highlighting Biden’s errors and missteps, Jean-Pierre described them as “cheap fakes” aimed at discrediting him, while also criticizing Republican responses.
On Wednesday, Jean-Pierre announced plans to publish a book, revealing her intention to leave the Democratic Party and discuss the “betrayal” she felt within it, which she claims influenced Biden’s decision not to seek re-election in 2024.
