Rachel Zoe Returns to Reality TV
Fashion designer Rachel Zoe is stepping back into the spotlight, officially joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for its upcoming season 15. She made the announcement on Instagram on June 6th.
In her post, she declared, “Here we’re heading to @BravoTV again!!! I have officially joined #TheRealHousewivesOfBeverlyHills and am back in the Bravo family. Let’s do this!”
In a video accompanying the announcement, Zoe told her fans: “It’s been a while, and you’ve asked me to return to TV when the stars are lined up. Now, it feels right to share more with all of you.”
Zoe, who’s now 53, isn’t new to reality television. She first gained fame with the Bravo series The Rachel Zoe Project, which aired from 2008 to 2013 and showcased her life as a celebrity stylist. Since those days, she has continued to leave her mark in the fashion industry with the creation of Zoe Report, a lifestyle brand and newsletter that started in 2009.
Fans of the series White Lotus might recognize Zoe’s influence in the fashion world. Actress Leslie Bibb mentioned using Zoe as inspiration for her character, referencing that her approach was indeed informed by Zoe’s stylistic flair. “Did Bravo have no Rachel Zoe’s project?” she asked during an appearance on Andy Cohen Live.
Zoe’s return coincides with significant personal changes. She and her husband, Roger Berman, have announced their separation after 26 years of marriage. They share two sons, Skyler, 13, and Caius, 10. In their joint statement from last September, they expressed pride in their family and the memories they created together. They emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their children amid their changing relationship.
Her addition comes after Garcelle Beauvais departed the franchise earlier this year, following five seasons. Beauvais cited family reasons and future career plans as her main considerations for leaving, wishing to be more present for her children during a pivotal time in their lives.
As for season 14, it includes familiar faces like Kyle Richards, Erica Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma St. John, Kathy Hilton, and Jennifer Tilly. However, Bravo has yet to confirm the cast for the upcoming season.
Excitement is brewing for new drama and familiar faces as Rachel Zoe’s involvement marks a notable comeback in the Bravo universe.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is available for streaming on Peacock.
