Ozempic Users Report Unexpected Changes
Interestingly, some users are noting surprising effects from this weight loss medication. One male user of Ozempic has claimed his penis has grown since starting the injections.
In a conversation on Reddit, he mentioned, “I recently measured myself and found I gained about an inch.” He went on to suggest that while some might attribute this to weight loss, he had previously measured himself at a lower weight and claims he was thin then as well. He added that he pushed against the bone during both measurements, leaving him curious if anyone else has experienced something similar.
Another user chimed in, stating, “I gained 1.5 inches. It’s no joke. I remember how long I was before, and after about seven months on Tilzepatide, I measured longer. It’s definitely not just because of weight loss.”
A third man echoed these sentiments, saying he too noticed a change, while one more commenter shared that his wife observed a difference as well, noting his weight drop from 278 pounds to under 200.
Additionally, other men reported a noticeable change in size, attributing it to improved blood flow and reduced fat near the pubic area. One user suggested that variations in measurements could be influenced by different conditions before the measurement, like temperature or arousal.
He remarked, “Everyone seems to blame weight loss when they measure differently while losing weight. Ozempic doesn’t enlarge the penis, but size can vary significantly due to external factors.”
Unexpected Side Effects
This phenomenon, often referred to informally as “Ozempic Penis,” adds to the growing list of side effects that users have reported since the drug became widely available in the U.S. in 2024. Another side effect, called “Ozempic Mouth,” is characterized by creases around the mouth, visible wrinkles, and sagging skin in that area.
People affected by these changes are often turning to cosmetic treatments to address the altered appearance, seeking out options like dermal fillers to rejuvenate the affected areas.
