Blake Lively Celebrates Legal Victory at Chanel Tribeca Festival

Blake Lively was all smiles as she made her way to an artist dinner at the Chanel Tribeca Festival, clearly thrilled after her significant legal win over Justin Bardoni.

The “Gossip Girl” alum dazzled on the New York City red carpet in a striking white crochet dress on Monday night.

She sported a vintage denim jacket casually draped over her shoulders.

Completing her look, the 37-year-old actress paired her outfit with elegant Christian Louboutin pumps, along with a Chanel scarab wallet, rings, and earrings.

This upbeat appearance followed a recent court ruling in which Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Bardoni’s $400 million lawsuit against both Lively and Ryan Reynolds, as noted in court documents.

Liman had previously rejected a separate $250 million lawsuit against the New York Times related to Lively’s initial claims of sexual harassment from December 2024.

The judge emphasized that Bardoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, were not deemed responsible for statements attributed solely to Lively, which had been referred to as privileged complaints by the California Civil Rights Department.

In a twist, Bardoni had alleged that Reynolds and publicist Leslie Sloane contributed to a smear campaign by claiming he was involved in sexual misconduct. However, Liman pointed out that the Wayfarer parties did not convincingly argue that these statements were based on solid information.

Lively’s legal team has indicated intentions to pursue “attorney’s fees, triple damages, and punitive damages against Bardoni” for what they termed “abusive lawsuits.”

Speaking about the ruling on her Instagram Story, Lively expressed a renewed commitment to supporting women’s rights and emphasized the importance of safety, integrity, and dignity. She noted, “The lawsuit against me has been defeated, but many people don’t have the resources to fight back.”

As of now, Bardoni’s legal team has yet to respond to the verdict.

This legal clash began late last year when Lively brought forth allegations against her “It Ending Us” co-star/director, accusing him of sexual harassment during the filming of a 2024 drama. Lively also claimed that Bardoni attempted to tarnish her reputation through a smear campaign. In response, Bardoni denied the allegations and filed a countersuit in January.
