Anthony Weiner reacts angrily to critic on the campaign trail: 'Trump motherf—er go home!'

Anthony Weiner, the scandal-plagued former director, has reacted strongly to criticism from New Yorkers during his campaign for a city council seat. In a recent video, Weiner was seen confronting a man who suggested that others might struggle to vote for him.

As he walked through the East Village with reporters on Monday, shortly before early voting begins, Weiner was filmed responding to a man’s comment about his past sexting scandal. The man referenced Weiner’s notorious behavior, saying, “After sending that D-K, the nerves are running for the office!”

Weiner’s anger boiled over, and he shouted, “These Trump Mothers – Kerr!” before asking rhetorically, “Would you kiss Mom with that mouth?” The outburst occurred near Tompkins Square Park.

At 60 years old, Weiner is attempting to reenter the political arena after more than a decade since his career was derailed by his infamous scandal. He served time in prison after engaging in inappropriate communications with a 15-year-old girl and is currently registered as a sex offender.

New Yorkers will start voting on Saturday to determine if Weiner can make a political comeback in the city’s second district seat, following his dramatic fall from grace.

Simultaneously, the city council voting event coincides with the wedding of billionaire Alex Soros and Weiner’s ex-wife, Huma Abedin, taking place at the family’s $50 million property in Southampton.

Weiner told a London publication, “I’m not going [to the wedding], but I hope they’re all the best and she looks amazing.” He shared a bit about their son, Jordan, saying, “I like everything with them, so it’s all great.”

High-profile guests expected at the wedding include Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, and Anna Wintour, among others.

Meanwhile, as Weiner campaigns in Manhattan, he has received some positive engagement, including fist bumps and encouragement. Facing off against four other candidates in the crowded Democratic primary, the winner will be decided on June 24th.
