A Moment with Mom

Kate Middleton and her daughter, Princess Charlotte, shared a touching moment during the first military color parade since the announcement of her cancer remission, taking place in London this past Saturday.

For the occasion, Kate dazzled in a striking teal coat dress by Catherine Walker, complemented by matching wide-brimmed hats and elegant pearl drop earrings once owned by Queen Elizabeth.

Charlotte, at only 10, wore a dress that mirrored her mother’s style, complete with a bow and white flats. Her long hair was styled in loose braids, giving her a charming look.

Meanwhile, her brothers, Prince George, age 11, and Prince Louis, age 7, rode in a royal carriage alongside their mother. They looked quite dapper in coordinated black suits, white shirts, and red ties.

Prince William, their father, met them at Buckingham Palace after his carriage ride, dressed in traditional military attire.

Kate, who is 43, has recently resumed her royal duties following her recovery from cancer. She last participated in the military event in a white coat dress, accented with a black bow, and she staged her hair in a classic low ponytail. Her accessories included a Philip Treacy hat and a pair of pearl earrings from Cassandra Goad.

Over the years, Middleton typically opts for Alexander McQueen coat dresses during annual events. However, she has also chosen to wear outfits from Jenny Packham, showcasing a range of designers in 2023 and 2024.

In 2023, for instance, she wore an emerald green dress by Andrew Gn, which held special importance given its connection to the Earthshot Awards ceremony that took place in Singapore that year.

Having completed her cancer treatment in September of 2024, Middleton announced her remission in January, sharing her journey on Instagram. She expressed hope and anticipation for the fulfilling year ahead, acknowledging the adjustments that come with recovery after a cancer diagnosis.
