Scott Wolf’s Estranged Wife Hospitalized After Divorce Announcement
Kelly Wolf, the estranged spouse of “Party of Five” actor Scott Wolf, was hospitalized following an incident just days after they announced their divorce.
This event was confirmed by the Utah County Sheriff’s Department. A video shared on Kelly’s Instagram page showed her speaking with an officer while in custody. In the footage, she made allegations of “abuse” against Scott.
At the start of the video, an officer told her, “You had the opportunity to be reasonable.” Kelly reacted with disbelief, saying things like, “Don’t do it. Ah, my God, this isn’t happening.”
During the interaction, Kelly expressed her frustration, insisting, “I’m fine. I’m going. Go on by myself.” She also referred to the situation as “shameful,” directing her comments toward the officers.
One officer explained to her that they were trying to help her, but she maintained, “I know what I’m doing. I did this. It’s embarrassing for you.”
As the encounter continued, the officer asked Kelly if she wanted her phone recording to be stopped. Kelly acknowledged it had been, saying, “I didn’t make any sense.” Later, she requested for the recording to be turned off, claiming, “I think this is a shameful thing, and Scott Wolf is abusing me, and now you are abusing me more.”
The officer indicated they were not in communication with Scott at that point. The video concluded with Kelly and two officers behind her, appearing distressed.
Representatives for both Scott and Kelly did not respond to requests for comments.
A statement from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to reports of women in distress at Sundance Resort, which raised concerns about comments made by their families.
After posting the video, Kelly updated her Instagram story with a picture of her belongings, stating she was taken against her will and pleaded to check on her child.
She later said, “Again… I’m happy!! I’m happier than ever,” while expressing her confusion over the situation. She mentioned wanting to resolve things quickly and urged kindness during this tough time.
On June 10, Kelly announced their breakup after 21 years of marriage. In her statement, she reflected on the journey, recognizing the importance of their children and her personal healing.
Kelly described Scott as an exceptional father and partner, emphasizing their shared commitment to their children’s happiness. She concluded by asking for privacy as they transition into this new phase of their lives.
Scott also addressed the divorce in a statement, underlining the priority of their children and the need for privacy during this difficult time. The couple met on a blind date in 2002 and wed in May 2004.
