Wife of Suspected Minnesota Lawmaker Killer Vance Boelter Taken into Custody by Authorities

Investigation Surrounds Minnesota Political Assassination Case

The status of Jenny Bolter, the wife of suspected political assassin Vance Bolter, remains unclear after she was detained for questioning during a traffic stop on Saturday morning. Reports indicate that police discovered weapons, ammunition, and passports in her vehicle during the stop near Onamia, Minnesota.

Witnesses described the scene as dozens of officers surrounded Bolter’s car, maintaining their presence for several hours. While she was questioned on-site, she has not been arrested as of yet.

Vance Bolter, who is considered “armed and dangerous,” is currently on the run. Historically, he lived in Camden, Minnesota, which is about 80 miles from where this incident occurred, raising questions about whether the couple still resides together.

Authorities are probing the events surrounding a violent incident that led to the assassination of a Democratic state representative and her husband early Saturday morning. Bolter’s alleged attack on a Democratic state senator and his wife is being treated as “politically motivated,” and a SWAT team was involved in the response.

In Bolter’s abandoned vehicle, police reported finding a hit list targeting various Minnesota politicians. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is actively pursuing leads, even offering a $50,000 reward for information that could help locate him.

Though the motives behind targeting these specific lawmakers are still unclear, it has been noted that the list primarily includes Democrats and individuals associated with abortion rights, like U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar and U.S. Sen. Tina Smith.

Historically, Jenny and Vance Bolter operated a security firm, Praetorian Guard Security. According to the company’s website, Vance has significant experience in various global security contexts, while Jenny has been credited for her extensive organizational and management skills.

Witnesses recount that during the violent incident, Vance Bolter was seen wearing a realistic latex mask. The attack led to the deaths of Representative Hortman and her husband at their home in Brooklyn Park, while State Senator John Hoffman and his wife were injured, requiring surgical intervention.

Police reported that after law enforcement arrived to check on the lawmakers, Vance Bolter engaged in gunfire with the officers before fleeing into the night.

In the wake of these tragic events, President Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondy emphasized the need for justice, stressing that such violence would not be tolerated in the United States.
