Prince Louis and Prince George's conversation during Trooping the Colour, according to a lip reader

The relationship between Prince George and Prince Louis has been endearing to the royal family.

This past weekend, the brothers engaged in a sweet conversation about waving while riding in a carriage during a ceremony.

George, who is now 11, and his younger brother, seven, were captured chatting on Saturday, seemingly enjoying their time together.

Reports suggest that Louis asked George whether he should wave to the crowd.

George allegedly replied, “It’s up to you,” and remarked on the weather, noting he couldn’t believe how sunny it was.

In response, Louis suggested, “Let’s do it together.”

Both boys looked dapper in their matching navy suits and red ties, and they shared smiles and waves with the spectators.

After their carriage ride, they joined their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with their grandparents, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Earlier, Kate had urged Louis to stand for the National Anthem, according to lip reader Jeremy Freeman.

Louis has developed a reputation for his playful antics during public events, often making headlines with his cheeky behavior, like sticking out his tongue or covering his ears.

Princess Charlotte has notably taken it upon herself to keep her brothers in line during such occasions. For instance, during the 2022 Platinum Jubilee, she intervened when Louis was being playful, pulling his hand away from his face.

It appears that while Charlotte tries to keep her brothers in check, George sometimes needs a little help adjusting his posture as well.

This blend of childhood innocence and royal duties certainly makes for some charming moments among the young royals.
