Rebel Wilson’s On-Set Injury During “Bride Hard”
Rebel Wilson recently shared some intense details about an incident on the set of her film, “Bride Hard.” In a conversation with Access Hollywood, she recounted how she had a pretty dramatic accident while filming.
During a fight scene, something unexpected happened—a gun accidentally hit her in the face. “It was just an extraordinary accident, and my nose opened up,” Wilson explained. She mentioned it was her last night shoot and wasn’t how she expected things to end.
It all happened in the “last battle sequence,” which led to quite a mess, including a “pool of blood.” She expressed her concern, saying, “I’m getting crazy,” and noted that the situation required an ambulance. “If they didn’t take me, I would have been hurt forever.” Thankfully, they got a plastic surgeon who handled the stitches, and, well, it’s a story she can now share without too much distress.
Interestingly, Wilson isn’t the only one reflecting on recent injuries while shooting. Charlize Theron also opened up about a painful mishap while working on her new action film, “Apex.” She talked about how she conducted her stunts without any protective gear, which, looking back, seems quite risky.
“Our crew delivered a truly impressive film, and you really did stunts and action—sometimes without a harness,” she stated. Given the risks she faced, Theron felt a bit amazed that she got through it all unscathed. “It’s a miracle that I’m actually here today,” she noted.
Theron also talked about her experience in a physically demanding role, revealing that she recently wrapped filming. “I’m fresh from the mountains,” she said, and jokingly mentioned that she still had some Australian dirt under her perfect manicure. To top that off, her cute boots were hiding some broken toes.
Yet despite all those physical challenges, Theron, now 49, expressed feeling positive about the whole experience. “To be honest, filming was one of the most incredible experiences of my life,” she added, which is a pretty remarkable takeaway.
